its from that movie done by environmentalists to try to claim that fracking was getting natural gas in the drinking water. Only problem is the location they did the video had high concentrations of methane IN the water BEFORE they started fracking due to farm runoff IIRC.
Of course, anyone who disagrees with them is obviously in the pocket of big oil, or a sheep/zombie/robot! No environmentalist would EVER fall to the all-too human foible of wanting to be right so bad as to ignore logic, outright lie, or whip up hysteria for their own ends. The ends justify the means right?
Gas fracking does this to the water table and if you have a private supply you’re fracked.
But, cheer up, the vast majority of American domestic water supplies are owned foreign International corporations like Veolia and Thames Water so relax. They won’t put profit before Public Health….honest.
Uhm, every water supply I’ve ever been involved with has been owned by my local city government, or by a pool of local governments of neighboring cities sharing common resources.
I believe you’re refering to ‘Gasland’? Just a pity that the areas that was filmed in, had flaming tap water before any fracking took place.. But can’t let something like that get in the way of a good enviro crusade can we, eh?
This is what is going to happen in Australia if coal seam gas is drilled for! I know we need new sources of energy, BUT PLEASE not this. I do not want to blow up from boiling eggs!!!!!
It’s not photoshop that has the faucet on fire. That’s a clip from the Documentary “Gasland” where the ill-effects of the process of “Fracking” are looked into. Which is used to extract natural gas from deposits underground. That is natural gas leaking into the faucet and water lines. It was lit with a lighter. I highly suggest all you look into this process and this film.
anyone who believes this is from gas drilling is and idiot and it is staged i have gas wells on my property and my water has never before or now wanted it to catch on fire. The wells are drilled to well below the water table and only regular water and sand is used to drill. The water is pumped back out of the well and treated before it is used again. The enviro weenies would rather us walk everywhere than have a clean cheap energy source. Don’t believe everything you read
Enviromental polution for the “win”
Where in the f#ck was this taken? ô.o Remind me to never drink the water there…

And just what oil company do you work for?
Soooo anyone who points out enviromentalist lies must work for an oil company?
Do you work at the same company?…lol
OH NO its global warming!

Damn kitchen, you scary.
This is why women must do the cooking.
I don’t want to live on this planet anymore. Even water is flammable.
That’s a propane stove. They just turned the heat up too high.
I usually get the water boiling before I put the pasta in myself, so the flame height really wouldn’t matter.

^This. Water is considered a public utility around here.
Giving “fire water” a whole new meaning
Photoshop — is there nothing it can’t do?
how in the f*ck do u set a sinck on fire
u can’t
In places where the water does this, people should know not to use tap. And they should beat their local representative until this gets fixed.
Oh the joys of fracking.

“Made in Britain”

Really just an incompetent plumber, hooked up gas & water pipes around wrong way.
PS: What the f*#k is with the Battlestar Galactica fracking swearing lately?

“The water! Its infected with fire!”
gas fracking, it doesn’t release gaz in water supply, it doesn’t release heavy chemical pollution on the ground for centuries…
It’s a myth
