its from that movie done by environmentalists to try to claim that fracking was getting natural gas in the drinking water. Only problem is the location they did the video had high concentrations of methane IN the water BEFORE they started fracking due to farm runoff IIRC.

Gas fracking does this to the water table and if you have a private supply you’re fracked.
But, cheer up, the vast majority of American domestic water supplies are owned foreign International corporations like Veolia and Thames Water so relax. They won’t put profit before Public Health….honest.
Uhm, every water supply I’ve ever been involved with has been owned by my local city government, or by a pool of local governments of neighboring cities sharing common resources.

I believe you’re refering to ‘Gasland’? Just a pity that the areas that was filmed in, had flaming tap water before any fracking took place.. But can’t let something like that get in the way of a good enviro crusade can we, eh?

It’s not photoshop that has the faucet on fire. That’s a clip from the Documentary “Gasland” where the ill-effects of the process of “Fracking” are looked into. Which is used to extract natural gas from deposits underground. That is natural gas leaking into the faucet and water lines. It was lit with a lighter. I highly suggest all you look into this process and this film.

It’s a myth
anyone who believes this is from gas drilling is and idiot and it is staged i have gas wells on my property and my water has never before or now wanted it to catch on fire. The wells are drilled to well below the water table and only regular water and sand is used to drill. The water is pumped back out of the well and treated before it is used again. The enviro weenies would rather us walk everywhere than have a clean cheap energy source. Don’t believe everything you read
