The only word of that whole thing I understood, but it said it all lol.
My favorite part is at about 3:20 (or there about) when the guy who is talking (and filming, I presume) stops talking and just lets out a big *sigh*.
I’m assuming he’s trying to free the cars. He can’t blow it out into the road (illegal) nor into the cars (damaging). He really should turn the auger between the cars, but otherwise this is about the only way to use a snowblower. It’s also obvious he’s making progress.
I live in Minnesota, where we know our snow, and don’t find this all that ridiculous.
He should be trying to blow the all snow into a big pile somewhere out of the way, or into a pile next to the road so it can be loaded into a big truck and hauled away. Instead he’s doing… this nonsense. Oh, and he’s doing a horrible job of scraping the packed snow off the sidewalk. He’s just getting the loose stuff. Bad technique, even worse strategy.
i find it sad that you “know your snow” yet can’t see whats wrong with this, perhaps your whole state needs lessons, you should come north to Canada.
I’m with Rehcsif here; assuming he just wants to free up the cars. Yes, in each pass he pushes a cumulative stack of snow either direction, but that pile ends up out of the way of the cars. Also, yes he is mostly removing loose snow, but hardpack won’t bottom out his car when he goes to pull away. A good snow shovel would actually be better in this situation IMHO, but given his tool of choice this is a decent strategy.

Maybe he’s just trying to flatten the snow. And every time he does a row, he finds strange foot-shaped prints in the snow behind him.
Are people really this lazy? Get a shovel and a broom ffs.
There’s only so much smugness you can take from a man in a warm office laughing at a man in the snow.
Whats wrong? It would only be a problem if he goes over the area he turns around at, as is any snow dropped in front of the machine is constantly moved over and over until it is in front or behind of where the cars are instead of next to the cars. His machine is essentially doing what a bulldozer would do >.>
He IS accomplishing his goals (Freeing the cars).
