  1. Electro says:

I don’t think that an alligator can go back, but just forward and turn.
Here, it needs to backup to escape, so, that half cage should be just as effective as a full cage in keeping it securely.

  2. John says:

The alligator could be dead/stuffed/fake. It could also be tied down very well. And is that a camera I see? Perhaps this a scene in progress of being filmed? I can not really see a fail here.

  3. gWbush says:

    How fail, fool?

  4. Artess says:

The alligator is tied, look closely right behind its front pair of legs and also by the end of its tail. The cage must be to stop overly curious people from getting too close to its mouth.

  5. Billy Rocks says:

No it is real and it not an alligator it is a Australian Salt Water Crocodile.
I just have to love my nation. I love that Bottle shop behind it too

  6. Rick says:

It’s an Alligator transport fail because it’s a saltwater crocodile.

Definitely taken in Australia…note we are driving on the correct side of the road!

    I’d say it’s dead/stuffed/fake.

  7. Columbo says:

And it’s probably not an alligator, but a salt water crocodile … it looks like an Australian town, probably somewhere in Northern Queensland

  8. Angus says:

Alligators don’t drive on the left. So judging by the parking arrangements, the red dirt on the Landcruiser, the proportion of white cars and the fact that there’s an advertisement for BottleMart in the picture, I’d say this is somewhere in the Northern Territory (Australia).
    Therefore, it’s a crocodile, likely a Saltie.

  9. eba says:

It’s not an alligator, they don’t get that big, they are also wider & stumpier & don’t live in Australia.

Also as others have said, crocodiles(or alligators for that matter) can’t move backwards & since the croc clearly has no room to turn around it’s not going anywhere.

  10. tylwyth says:

aaaaaaaaaaand, it’s actually a crocodile. Possibly from Broome (Western Australia) after their crocodile park closed down.

  11. tylwyth says:

lol. posted on fb for my hometowners to confirm. Broome, WA … BUT it’s the fibreglass croc from the park. the end,

  12. Your_Mate says:

That’s a crocadile not an alligator

  13. Cheese says:

    1) It’s a crocodile, not an alligator.
    2) It’s tied down. The cage is at the head end because that’s the dangerous end.
    3) Of course crocodiles can go backwards. Stand behind one if you don’t believe me.

  14. KWDragon says:

I see no fail, only win. Should she have stuffed the croc in the car? Tied it to the roof? Don’t think so.

  15. BGMiller says:

Alligator transport FAIL or Tactical Trunk Monkey Upgrade WIN?

  16. TheElderWombat says:

That picture was taken in Darwin, Northern Territory Australia. The crocodile was a plastic one being moved from a display…….. mind you, if I didn’t know that, it would have been a funny pic……..

  17. lentil says:

Moot point but – that’s not an Alligator. It’s a crocodile and that’s in Australia somewhere – looks like Darwin. It will have been tranquillised and tied down.

  18. Knob Detector says:

Even without the (copious) clues, you can see that isnt an aligator. Course its a saltie. There is your fail, right there.

  19. Jerry says:

Considering this is Australia (check what side of the road they are driving) This is not an Alligator. It’s a Crocodile.

  20. garandras says:

Just incase you guys havent relised it.. Its a Croc.. and Its Probally Darwin/Broome.. and its fiberglass…

I’m just letting you know =P
